Bold Marauder - Kendra Smith

This is only the 3rd cover I've heard of Richard Farina's masterpiece. The others are by Plainsong and John Kay. This is in their league. I'd be very interested to hear any recommendations of other great cover versions of the 'Bold Marauder'.

Wanderlusting - Imaad Wasif with Two Part Beast

I just listened to to 'Wanderlusting' by Imaad Wasif with Two Part Beast, which was recommended by mySpoonful, which is proving to be one of the best sources of new music I know. This is a great song, which I had to play again as soon as I'd heard it for the first time. Now I'm playing it for a third time. This is one of those discoveries I always hope to find - music that thrills.

It is so good to see that Phil Ochs' music is going to be part of the lives of a new generation who discover him through this film. He was one of the saddest and most truly brilliant singer songwriters of his era.
